Whether it be heading to the local theaters or finding a film to stream, check out these top listed and best films to make your day one to remember!

One of the first movies to kick off the list includes the classic “50 First Dates.” Adam Sandler plays a veterinarian named Henry, who falls for Lucy Whitmore, played by Drew Barrymore. Henry eventually finds out Lucy was involved in an accident, which results in her only having a memory that lasts one day. This is definitely a must watch!

Next up on our list includes “Redeeming Love.” This film is set in the American Old West California Gold Rush. A woman named Angel works as a prostitute. A farmer named Michael falls in love at first sight. This film keeps you on the edge of your seat and is one you don’t want to miss!

Adam Sandler is featured again in this fan favorite film titled, “Blended.” Lauren, played by Drew Barrymore, who is a recently separated mother, and Jim, played by Adam Sandler, get set up on a blind date by their friends, which ends up going wrong. This is a great film for those who want a great laugh.

Of course a Nicholas Sparks movie has to make the list. “A Walk to Remember” is a movie that you will remember. This plot follows the storyline of a classic and timeless high school love story. If you enjoy the movie, make sure to read the book as well!

The last Adam Sandler movie on the list, is very well known as “Just Go with It.” Adam Sandler’s Danny Maccabee is a plastic surgeon who enlists Jennifer Aniston’s Katherine as his assistant and his pretend ex-wife. The lie causes things to get out of hand and becomes a very comedic watch.

“The Choice” is a romantic drama that features Travis Shaw, a man who has a hard time settling down, played by Benjamin Walker. Gabby Holland, played by Teresa Palmer, is a clever medical student who plans to start her life with her boyfriend. As neighbors, the pair start to become close friends…and possibly even more. Watch this film to find out!

“The Last Song” is a movie many of us grew up watching. Young musician Ronnie, played by the iconic Miley Cyrus, is sent to live and reconnect with her father over the summer. From there, she meets Will Blakelee, played by Liam Hemsworth, and starts to fall in love. This movie is near and dear to the hearts of many Hannah Montana fans and it’s a fun rewatch as well.

“The Spectacular Now,” which features stars such as Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley, is a storyline between Sutter, a social and popular drinker, and Aimee, a nice and pleasant student he attends school with. They meet after he wakes up from a night of partying on her lawn. While Sutter deals with his home life and family, Aimee navigates her future plans and the two become close. If you love the Divergent series that these two are featured in, this is a film you will want to see.

A Netflix film which deserves high praise includes, “Do Revenge.” Riverdale star, Camila Mendes stars as a popular student who wants to get back at her ex boyfriend, while fellow student Eleanor is stuck with a rumor. Both team up to take on their enemies. This definitely is a plot twist type of movie and is a total girl trend movie that we recommend.

If you love old school films and love Mackinac Island, you will love this top pick. “Somewhere in Time,” is the timeless tale of playwright Richard Collier, played by Christopher Reeve, who travels in time while staying at the Grand Hotel and falls in love with star Elise McKenna, played by Jane Seymour. The storyline of this film is breathtaking and is truly a nostalgic favorite.

The original James Cameron’s “Titanic (1997),” tells the true story of one the worst shipwrecks in history. At the time, known as one of the largest ships, it struck an iceberg and less than three hours later it sank with no bodies ever found. This movie features Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The story follows two characters who fall in love aboard the ship, and who are in differing social hierarchies. This movie will forever have a special place in history and in the heart of many historians.

One of the biggest tear jerkers on the list include “The Fault in Our Stars.” Divergent star Shailene Woodley stars as Hazel Grace Lancaster, a teenage cancer patient, and falls in love with a fellow cancer support group member Augustus Waters, played by Ansel Elgort. While this movie is heart wrenching, it is memorable and again, based on a fantastic novel written by John Green.

“Pride and Prejudice (2005),” is an additional classic that made the list. This film follows the storyline of Jane Austen’s 1813 novel. This film features Keira Knightley as the strong headed Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew MacFayden as the snarky Mr. Darcy. Fans of period dramas will love this film and love the dramatic tale of their love story.

This next novel based film is written by the talented John Green. “Paper Towns,” which falls into the category of a mysterious romance. Cara Delevigne plays the popular girl in school, Margot, who suddenly appears missing. Quentin, played by Nat Wolff, and his buddies, embark on a mission to solve the mystery and clues that he believes she left behind. This film is great for those who love a good mystery and for those who loved reading the book as well.

If you’re a musical junkie you will love this film. “Mamma Mia,” which features Donna, played by Meryl Streep, takes place in the Greek Islands. She and her friends prepare for her daughter’s wedding. Her daughter however has a plan of her own and invites the men in her mother’s past in hopes of finding her father to walk her down the aisle on her big day. The music is top tier in the movie and is truly a must see!

One of the oldest tales on the list includes, “Les Miserables.” Based on the engaging French historical novel written in 1862 by Victor Hugo, Hugh Jackman stars as Jean Valjean, a prisoner who is freed by Javert, a prison officer played by Rusell Crowe. Jean breaks his parole and uses money to become a mayor and factory owner, while Javert hunts him down. During this time, new storylines and characters develop. Jean becomes a guardian for one of his factory workers who passes away named Fantine, played by Anne Hathaway. Cosette, Jean’s daughter, played by Amanda Seinfeld, falls in love and the story takes on new challenges and turns, all while the June Rebellion begins to take place. For historians and musical lovers alike, this production is special and unique in numerous ways.
